She left Santo Domingo and boarded a plane with Dr. Baez, Ron and a medical team and should be landing in Miami any minute now!!!!
We could not be more thrilled, or more scared. But overwhelmingly happy that this step is finally happening!!!!!!

This is probably the most time Ron has gotten to spend with her since it all happened; another little blessing from our Father in Heaven. She needs to hear his voice and know he's by her side.
ReplyDeleteYou are all my heroes right now -- all of Sherries Stripling Warriors! Your testimonies are so strong!
This brings back memories of when my nephew (3 months old at the time) was in a coma after being legally dead for over 30 minutes but my sister refused to let him go and continued to give him CPR. After seven shots of epinepherine and finding he had RSV, Pneumonia AND a blood infection, they managed to revive him. At one point his brain scan showed only single digit ratings, 3 or 4, if I remember correctly. With a priesthood blessing and the Lord's help, he is now a happy, healthy VERY active little boy with very minimal hand twitches every now and then (nerve damage?). I am praying for the same power and miracles for Sherrie!!! As you indicate, not to be over expectant, but still knowing that if God can move mountains, that if he needs to keep our sweet Sherrie here to continue to touch the lives of more than she already has, HE CAN!!!
I'm so happy she is stable enough to make it back to the states. We will continue to pray for all of you and that more of Gods amazing miracles will head Aunt Sherrie's way! Love you all, thanks for keeping us updated.
ReplyDeleteSo great to hear this news! We have faith in God and the American Health System to help Sherrie!

Thank you for sharing all of your updates with us. We are thinking of each of you and praying for each of you. Your family has had a profound effect on our family for years. About 4 years ago we had a very similar situation in our family. With the help of amazing doctors, priesthood blessing, and a loving Heavenly Father we are blessed to have seen miracles. All these years later there is such minimal problems nobody that didn't already know would never be aware of the situation. We hope the powers of heaven will continue to shine upon Sherrie and your family.
